A fun, busy day in Boston with Jack and Maddie, my adventurous energizer bunnies. Sunny, 57 degrees, not too shabby for February.

We all ranked the new “View Boston” as our favorite. Located on the top 3 floors of the Prudential Center, it offers 365- degree panoramic views of the city – both indoors and outdoors – with many other experiences including a huge 3D model of Boston that visually transforms through the four seasons.

Other stops included the amazing Bates Hall (reminiscent of a Harry Potter film location); chocolate at the Copley Hotel’s Lindt store; lunch at Shake Shack and playing with the latest digital devices at the 3-story Apple Store.

Favorite #2 was the colorful all-glass “Mapparium” with its incredible acoustics. It’s one of Boston’s underrated (and lesser known) sites. A stop for yummy Italian gelato did the trick; plenty of energy remained for Jack & Maddie after a 15,000 step day.

What great ages for adventures. Luckiest grand dude in the world.
